Where are you located?
We are happy to welcome you in our Art Studio at 82 rue de la Chalouère, just next to downtown Angers ! For Parking, there are free spots all around the Studio or a whole road of parking places on Rue Robert Surcouf. For public transportation, you can access our Studio using : ligne 10 (arrêt Lorraine), ligne 01 (arrêt Lutin), ligne 02 (arrêt Macé).
We also do creative events in the beautiful boutique L’Atelier 41 as well as in schools, nurseries, privately at home, outdoors, and more !
What do I need to bring?
All materials are included in each workshop so all you need to bring is your creativity and good vibes!
Is there an extra fee for materials?
Nope, all materials are already included in the workshop price.
Can I do a trial workshop?
To discover our concept and workshops we recommend families to join us during an Open Studio (dates will be posted on our calendar, have a look or contact us).
How long is a ‘session’ of workshops?
From January 2021 to June 2021, we offer the possibility to sign up for a full session of workshops which coincide with the school calendar. Sessions are often between 6 – 7 weeks, depending on the school calendar. During our workshop sessions we do lots of fun creative projects as well as different dynamic themes.
Are there sibling discounts?
Yes! We offer a discounted sibling rate of 10% for a new registration if their sibling is already signed up with us.
How do I register?
Check out our ‘Ateliers’ page at the top of the site and choose between our classes our workshops depending on what you’re searching for (don’t hesitate to contact us to help you find your perfect workshop !).
What is the deadline for signing up for a full session of workshops?
From January 2021 to August 2021 our registrations for a full session of workshops are available up until one week before the session starts.
Can I sign up for a full year?
Of course! You can register for a full year of workshops with Cherche and Create. Contact us for more information.
I have to cancel, now what?
Cancellations can be made up to 14 days prior to a full session of workshops or for our camps, you will be issued a refund of all but 20% of the purchase price. Any cancellations made within a session or a camp are non refundable / non transferrable. If you miss a class you can make it up at one of our Open Studios (reserve your spot in advance).
What are the sizes of the workshops?
It depends on the location of the workshop; we like to keep our groups small and comfortable. We often have between 3 to 8 artists together per workshop.
Who can come to a workshop with my child?
For our baby workshops (under 3 years) we ask one legal guardian to accompany their child who will be responsible of them throughout the workshop. For our Family Create / Open Studio you can bring the whole family (depending on the space available – we encourage registering in advance). Children aged 3 and up can participate in our workshops independently (when fully potty-trained).
Do you offer workshops for adults / work / parties?
Yep! We have our monthly adult arts & crafts evenings which are a lot of fun (with tasty snacks included!). We also offer specially crafted workshops to cater to work events (team-building, work parties), as well as birthdays or bachelorette / bachelor parties. Feel free to contact us for more information.
Do I get to keep my art?
Of course! Bring home all your creations to show off to your family and friends 😊
What happens to left behind artwork?
Artists are invited to take their creations home when finished. If forgotten, we will keep them for one month then afterwards, unless specially requested, any leftovers will be used for future creations.
Can we bring snacks?
Due to the short time we’re together for the workshop we don’t allow any snacks but feel free to bring along a water bottle if you’d like. - Some pop-up events will have snacks provided.
We can also come to you - we do private workshops in the comfort of your home.
